Hello, my name is Ms. Diane! Have you ever thought about this…
1. Have you ever been to the Orchestra listening to all the wonderful sounds & watching the musicians play their instruments so eloquently, and thinking,
How are they playing that instrument? How can I play an instrument too? It looks so exciting & lots of fun.
2. Have you ever been in the middle of your School Spirit Assembly watching the band playing with the drum major leading the way and thinking…I would Love to play in the band & be part of that community & camaraderie, but I need to learn to play an instrument. How do I do that…
3. Were you ever sitting in the middle of church service when you heard the announcements for volunteers needed to play in the church music group, and thought…I would love to be part of the music group and play an instrument. How can I do that?
“Let’s Experience our Musical Journey Together”
The Love of Teaching is my specialty because I’ve been teaching children of all ages for about 20 years.
Bien Venidas! and welcome to my studio website. My name is Ms. Diane and I’m the owner, CEO & developer of Diane’s Flutiste Music Studio of Las Vegas.
Diane’s Flutiste Music Studio has been in existence since 2014 & looking forward to meeting new flute and music students in preparation to play in school bands, recitals, concerts, or even just to play for their family & friends. It’s an exciting time to be a part of the music community with so much innovation all around us 24/7 and a multitude of various genres to be a part of. I welcome you all and please feel free to contact me with any or all of your questions you may have about taking lessons, learning the flute or Saxophone. I ask you to come along with me and experience our musical journey together because it’s just that,..”A Musical Journey” and there is always an adventure or challenge to be had just around the corner.
The Flute family is a special one indeed beginning with the C flute, going to the Alto flute, moving towards the Bass flute and if your lucky enough to see a live Contrabass flute then take advantage my friend, it’s a sight for sore eyes and amazing to try & get a sound out let alone play. But ‘Yes’ it is truly Amazing to play!
Over the years I’ve found that most flutists have their favorite flute they like to play, and the same goes for me. I Love playing the Alto flute and try to play it as much as possible. The reason I love it is because of the lower richer sound it gives, but then of course it challenges people to stretch and develop strong lungs strong open back with a consistent relaxed embouchure so that you can reach a good lower octave resonance.

Chester Chorale
A short Flute Ensemble chorale on 'Chester'.
#DianaFlutist Are you performing this piece? A short Flute Ensemble chorale on 'Chester'written and composed by William Billings. The original composition was created and formed in the midst of the American Revolutionary War around 1778. It was one of the most famous songs that came out of that era. Chester was one of the published pieces included inside a book of anthems called The Singing Master's Assistant. A collection of church music 'hymns' for all purposes during the Revolution within the New England colonies. Many of the soldiers and troops of the Continental Army would keep themselves occupied by singing hymn verses around tents and campfires during their time at war. Here is a short excerpt of one of his original hymns written by Billings himself:``What grateful Off'ring shall we bring? What shall we render to this Lord?Loud Hallelujah let us sing,And praise His name on Ev'ry Chord.``This is a flute choir arrangement of William Billings original hymn of Chester. May you play it reverently!
